Hello,

What you mean with huge data? How many rows do you try to load?

What about if you use relative not big data set? Is this error appear again?

Regards

Tony

The treegrid has around 800-900 rows of data. The script error says that jquery.js is the script that is busy and is not responding. I do not see the error on the other treegrids where the treegrids have relatively small datasets.

When I get the script error, It provides me with two options namely "stopscript" and "continue". When I click on "stopscript" the page becomes unresponsive and If I click on "continue" the page hangs for a while(probably 1 minute) and loads the remaining data after that.

Please let me know a way to fix this.

Thanks.

Hello,

What if you try with 200 - 300 rows of data. Does the problem persist?

Do you use any other grid events - I mean afterInsertRow, gridComplete and etc

REgards

As I mentioned in myearlier post I dont see the problem on treegrids where I have relatively small datasets. I am not using any gridevents.

I am facing the problem that was described earlier on the initial page load only while the page loads treegrid.

Thanks

Hello,

Could you please send me a link to the problem? If you send me a link, please do not use min version, but the development one.

Best Regards

Hi Tony,
I tried to use jQGrid 3.5 beta hoping that, it will solve the script error. Now I do get an error like " too much recursion" in jquery-1.3.2.min.js.

Request you to let me know whether this error is caused due to error in "jquery-1.3.2.min.js" file or is it an server side error, where java program that uses recursion in my case is used to create dynamic XML.

Thanks.

Hello,

Could you please try the following:

1. Generete your request and save the result in xml file.

2. Call the tree grid with this generated file i.e in url set this file.

I have a feeling that something is wrong in your generated code.

Also to be a clear when we set the tree grid we do not use any recursion.

Regards

Tony
