jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi, 

I am new to jqgrid, and I need to create a grid for time tracking (entering the hours for different projects/tasks (multi-level nested rows) for each day (Sunday - Saturday are each in their own column), with a "Total" column as the final column, which sums up all the hours entered for that project/task for a given week.  

I'm finding TreeGrids with multiple levels, and editable one level basic grids, and "Total"/Summary rows at the bottom or top of the data, but I'm not finding the combination of requirements I need.  Multiple levels, editable cells, and a "Total" Column that sums each row.  

Additionally, in the examples on trirand.com, I'm only finding snippets of the Javascript for various functions (e.g., treegrid, editable cell), not how to incorporate those snippets into existing code nor how to make the two things - treegrid and editable cells and total column all work together.  

I've been trying this for days with no success.  

I appreciate any help/suggestions you can provide.
