editable flag is not honored in tree mode

I have the following column in the tree grid:
{ name: 'AllowDelete', index: 'AllowDelete', width: "80px", sortable: false, align: 'center',
editable: myObject.canEdit, edittype: 'checkbox',
formatter: 'checkbox', editoptions: { value: "True:False" },
formatoptions: { disabled: !myObject.canEdit }}
If I have the same configuration in normal grid, editable flag works properly,
but in treegrid mode it is ignored, so even if myObject.canEdit is false, the cell is still editable
Any help is appreciated.
