Hello

first of all thank you for the great tool for what I can see on the web. However, I may be failing to match what is explained in the Tutorial "creating your first grid" and the actual content and structure of files and folders in the downloaded material. I have found it so confusing that I have not wanted to continue trying.

Here is my humble description of what I have seen:

jqgrid_demo38 has another folder with the same name inside, which is not mentioned in the tutorial

then inside that one you have two more folders

js and themes

plus a long list of mixed files of all types

then inside the js you have the i18n and the src directories plus a list of js files.

then inside the i18n you have the language files

then in the other folder src you have 2 more directories, css and i18n again and a long list of js files

so inside the css you have ellipsis, searchfilter, uijqgrid, and uimultiselect but none that corresponds to the tutorial

 I dont see how I can relate it to the example of the Tutorial

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="themes/basic/grid.css" />
 <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="themes/jqModal.css" />
<script src="jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="jquery.jqGrid.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="js/jqModal.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="js/jqDnR.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

because, there isn't such a directory as Basic

there isnt any file I could find called grid.css  not only in the nonexistent Basic directory but anywhere

the themes directory is not as shown on the tutorial but inside another subdirectory called jqgri_demo38

and even when you go into that themes subdirectory the jqmodal.css is not in there but you have a directory

called redmond

and then a xml file and 2 css ui and multiselect

so, I just can not see a correlation between the tutorial and the structure
and existence of files and folders.

thank you very much for any hint as to what I am missing

best greetings
