Is there someway to select all the rows in a interval when multiselect is active?

I have several tables where the user will have to select 70 – 200 rows of data that can be ordered by the user and filtered.

Unfortunatley the standard multiselect: true behavior means that the poor user will wear down his/hers mouse.

Row | ID | Name
1       3     "user1″
2       5     "user 3″
3       1     "user 5″
4       4     "user 6″

If the user clicks row 1 and then clicks on row 3 while holding down shift then row nr 2 should also be selected. I was looking at setSelection but I can only set the selection by the data id, not the row nr.

Is there some parameter that I have missed or is there no way to do what I want?

I just found the getInd function. I should be able to do what I want with that.
