Hi,
I am using microsofts Dynamic.cs with my jqgrid searches.
I tried to do a contains (cn) on a numeric search field and got this error:
No applicable method 'Contains' exists in type 'Int32'
i am wondering if i cannot use use contains (cn) for a numeric field? Or maybe i dont have the latest version of Dynamic.cs? Or perhaps i am just doing this just plain wrong?
after looking around, i can understand that int32 does not have a contains method, but how do i use the "cn" search option on a numeric? Or should I just use the other search options like eq, ne etc.
i found a forum post
http://blog.walteralmeida.com/.....sion-.html
that i thought would tell me how to fix my Dynamic.cs so that it could handle contains-(cn), but that dosnt seem to work?
i guess i am wondering what the best practice is for this issue?
thanks for your time.

Hello,
Just a idea - convert the integers in SQL WHERE clause to strings in order to use contain.
