jqgrid row selection/unselection

I am stuck with an issue. I used jqgrid in each row i have a custom icon . Now onclick of that icon, the row is getting selected/unselected. I do not want this to happen. On clicking of that icon, I do not want the row tobe selected/unselected.

How do I fix it?

HEllo,

Thuis is not a bug. You will need just to read the docs and use the appropriate event.

Hint maybe you canb use beforeSelectRow

Actually in my grid there will be already some items selected and some items unselected. On clicking icon i do not want to change the state of selection.I tried few events and it did not work for me 🙁
