When using jqgrid with inline editing. Is there a way to also call a saverow action when you click on the first/previous/next/last button (or when sorting column)? (Or if not possible, to disable those buttons while you are editing a line)

Now when you are editing a row, and then click on the next page button, you loose everything that you have typed if you haven't saved that row.

Yes,

there is onPaging event for this - see the docs what is new in 3.1..

You should also use onSortCol event to save a row

when the use try to sort when in editing mode. But your recommendation

has sence - we should disable paging and sorting when in inline edit.

Will see what i can do.

Regards

tony
