jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I have a grid with multiple date fields (5+), plus a ton of other fields. When I launch the add/edit modal window the user has to scroll to reach all of the fields there are so many (30+).

The 2nd field in the window is a date field and it works just fine, however once the user scrolls down to the other date fields, when they click in the field the datepicker will invoke and open, however when they select a day in the datepicker, it scrolls them up to the top of the modal window and changes focus to the first field in the form. If you scroll back down again you can select the date and it works. This repeats for every other datepicker form element. (FireFox)

With IE, the user cannot select a date on any of them that they have to scroll down to. It won't let them. It also won't let them manually enter a date into the text box instead of using the datepicker component.

Thoughts?
