custom buttons not cloned to top

I have set "toppager: true" in my base options and "cloneToTop: true" inmy "navGrid" options.

Everything works fine except my custom buttons do not get added to the top pager.

I'm using jqGrid 3.7.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello!

Look at my answer on the stwckoverflow.com. Is it not what you need? In the answer I show how to have different buttons on top and bottom toolbar.

Thanks for your help Oleg. It isn't quite what I was looking for, but it helped me discover a way to get it done.

I'm sure this isn't the best method, but it works for me - hopefully it helps someone else:

// build column re-order button
$('#pmt-list').jqGrid('navButtonAdd', '#pmt-pager', {
    caption: 'Columns',
    title: 'Reorder Columns',
    onClickButton: remapCols
});
// clone column re-order button to top pager
$("#pmt-list_toppager_left table:first tbody:first tr:last").append(
    $('#pmt-pager_left table:first tbody:first tr:last td[title="Reorder Columns"]')
        .clone()
        .css('cursor', 'pointer')
        .click(remapCols)
        .mouseover(function(){$(this).attr('class', 'ui-pg-button ui-corner-all ui-state-hover');})
        .mouseout(function(){$(this).attr('class', 'ui-pg-button ui-corner-all');})
);
