Hi guys
I have a couple of search field parameters users need to complete and then click the Search button. The search button then calls my jqGrid function to fetch the JSON data from the server as follows:
jQuery("#grid").jqGrid(
{
url: '/Publications/SearchArchives',
datatype: 'json',
mtype: 'POST',
colNames: ['Publication Name', 'Publication Type', 'Original Archive', 'Transcribed Archive'],
colModel: [
{ name: 'publicationName', index: 'publicationName', sortable: true, sorttype: 'string', width: 55 },
{ name: 'publicationType', index: 'publicationType', sortable: true, width: 40 },
{ name: 'tiffPDFFileName', index: 'tiffPDFFileName', sortable: false, formatter: detailsLinkTiff, width: 85 },
{ name: 'transcribedPDFFileName', index: 'transcribedPDFFileName', sortable: false, formatter: detailsLinkTranscribed, width: 85 }
],
pager: '#gridpager',
rowNum: 10,
width: '690',
loadonce: false,
height: 'auto',
rowList: [10, 20, 100],
sortname: 'publicationName',
sortorder: 'desc',
viewrecords: true,
caption: 'Search Results', ...
This part works fine the first time, but unless the user refreshes the page, no further searches will be sent to the server. As you can see, loadonce has been set to false.
What am I doing wrong?
Tks
