When jqgrid requests data, it always adds an nd=<time-in-milliseconds> parameter to the query string.
Whats it there for?
I can see some point during development, to prevent caching - but I /want/ the data to be cached.
My server-side code sets an ETag header, and responds correctly to if-none-match headers. Everything works fine without the nd (ie, the request is made, and if there are no changes in the response, the server sends a "304 not modified").
Am I missing something?

Hello,
The purpose of this is mostley for the IE browsers. They cache the request and some time return the same request insted that the data has been changed.
Sorry, for now this parameter can not be configured.
