Hello there,

The problem i am currently facing in JQGrid is with TAB INDEX???

I have set of 40 rows and "onselectrow" i make the row editable, so each and everytime i need to click/select a row in order to edit and make an enty to database...!

Is there any way/feature where i can make use of TAB feature so that i need not have to select/click each and every row to make an edit and update to database.

Note: I dont want use Multiple Select option then later click on Save button!

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

  Santosh 🙂

Hello,

If I understand right - yes you can do this - just get all the ids of the grid and make a loop with editRow method.

Hello agian,

Thank you for the response...!

Yes, I agree with you...! I had tried doing so but the problem i faced here is...! For example, i have 4 columns...

ID NAME    IN-PAYMENT OUT-PAYMENT
1  AAA     [ 100.00]   [100.00]
2  BBB     [ 100.00]   [100.00]
3  CCC    [ 100.00]   [100.00]
4  DDD   [ 100.00]   [100.00]

Here, i have  set editable true for only 2 rows [IN-PAYMENT and OUT-PAYMENT] and other 2 as false, (as i am retriving these[id, name] values from serverside script)
So, making a loop for editable rows using editRow method leads to all 4 columns...! So my requirement is for only 2 columns not for whole row...!

Thanks.

Regards,

    Santosh
