Hi,
I would like to have the possibility to insert on the same page of the grid the edit or view form.
If I use editGridRow or viewGridRow the grid is grayed and a new panel is showed, instead of I'd like to have the edit form on the same page of the grid: when a row is selected on the grid the form is filled with those data.
My aim is providing an easy to use grid with few details for the navigation between records: when you select one of them, you'll see the detailed version in form that you'll be able to edit. An overlay every time you want to see details in a record is really annoying for this purpose.
Is there an easy way to do this using build-in jqGrid functions or it's better if I start creating a new type of form?
Thanks,
Fair

Hello,
Sorry not supported. You will need to construct your own form for this purpose.
Best Regards
Tony
