Ajax succes callback

All ajax calls invoked from within jqTable uses the complete callback and then checks for status==”Success”. Why not use the success callback?

Due to this the general dataFilter trick suggested in http://encosia.com/2009/06/29/.....s-d-again/ isn't working since the filter isn't applied in success.

Hello,

Some thing could not be explain so easy. You can apply dataFilter trick very easy in jqGrid - just define

datatype : function (postdata) {

// here your ajax with dataFilter

}
