Vertical scrollbar doesn't show in IE8 - jqGrid 4.4.0

Hi All,
Testing version 4.4.0 is great, except in IE8 where by vertical scroll bars dont appear until clicked (clicked where they should be). Please see the image below:
Does anyone know a solution to this?
