Given a grid with editable:true.  I can edit the column's cell for a given row.  But if I make the following call, the cell is no longer selectable.

jQuery("#idRemoteGridController").jqGrid('setRowData', row, {number : remote.getZoneNumbers()});

The cell is updated to show the zone numbers,  But clicking in the cell has no effect.  But if I then click in a cell for a different row, then the original cell becomes editable again.

Here's the grid config for the column

           {name:'number', index:'number', width:250, sorttype:"text", editable:true, classes:'jqGridText',
                    editoptions:{size:"37", maxlength:50,
                        dataEvents:[
                            {type: 'blur', fn: function(event) {
                               zoneChangeCallback(this.value, selectedRow, event);
                             }}
                        ]}},

I've also tried 'setCell' instead of 'setRowData' and I get the same result.

Help please.

Thanks

Mike

Note this is jqGrid 3.6.5.  Maybe this was fixed in the just released version 3.8 ?  I'm hesitant to update now because we are days away from releasing our software, which has been throughly tested against 3.6.5.

Hello,

This is not a bug, but feature.

getRowDat and setRowData does not work in a editable inline fields. These thing are colored in red into the docs.

This will not be corrected.

Kind Regards

Tony Tomov
