Only able to show 20 rows max in subgrid ?

I am trying to show about 25 rows in a subgrid, but it seems to always default to 20 rows regardless of the values i use for the row numbers. I am trying to avoid implementing a pager in this case so is this a bug or is it by design to only allow 20 rows max in a subgrid without paging ?

Edit: forgot to mention i am using v4.4.3

Hi Lonewolf217,

jqGrid has rowNum option which default value is 20 (see the documentation). Typically one uses either pager or toppager option (or both) to create pager part of the grid which allows the user to change the page. I suppose that you don't use any pager. If you want don't use pagers and just display all rows of data in the grid you should specify rowNum option with some large enough value like rowNum: 10000.
