Don't know what forum to put this. Comments seems closed on wiki
Seen this in the "inline Editing" documentation
grid.jqGrid({

onSelectRow: function(id) {

Seen this in many response on stack or other.
This is not good depending on global var and polluting global scope.
Better do this.
