I have the following bug/issue/problem.

In my solution I am using jquery (v1.3.2), jquery.event.hover.js (v1.0 rev 5), jqgrid (v3.6) and searchFilter (v1.2.9).

I have set up advanced search options for my grid. When I open advanced search dialog from pager button, search dialog is displayed properly as it should be.

Now, when I try to click any button on search form (like +, -, Find...) js exception is raised in jquery.js (v1.3.2) before I click on it. Exception is: "htmlfile: member not found". I know that this is raised by hover event set up on the search form buttons. This hover event is used for hovering effect on form buttons

If I go to the jquery.searchFilter.js and comment line 167 (hover utility function, line is: "retrun false") everything is working fine without exceptions and I have hovering effect as well.

I have also tried this in Firefox before and after commenting mentioned line and everything is working fine there, no exception whatsoever in any case.

Hello,

The problem seems to not a jqGrid, but rather there should be some strange in your code.

Just google for this errro and you will see what can be the reason.

In order to reproduce - create just a jqGrid without any other code and try. If everthing is ok - try to add step by step the other code and see which causes this. Or do it in reverse order - substarcting non jqGrid code
