The select row reaction speed reduces significantly in Firefox 3.6.8 when grid has more that 200 rows loaded into it.
To reproduce the issues:
1. check http://www.trirand.net/demoasp.....etmvc.aspx -> Performance -> Paging 500 000 rows.
2. Load at least 200 rows into the using the scroll
3. Try to select row by row quickly - you will find the delay (the CPU load gets to the maximum).
Delay gets bigger the more rows you have loaded.

That is a duplicate of the following issue http://www.trirand.com/blog/?p.....-ui-1-8-4/ (jqGrid 3.7.2 is not fully compatible with jQuery UI 1.8.4)
As a quick workaround solution, you might need to delete the following line from the jquery-ui-1.8.2.css file:
.ui-widget :active { outline: none; }
