Hello Tony,

The current code of sortableColumns produces always an exception in the line in case of usage the current version of jQuery UI. The problem is that jQuery UI Sortable uses .data("uiSortable") instead of .data("sortable") to save object with internal data. I posted the pull request with a possible suggestion how to fix the problem.
