Hi,

I once raised this question, but it went unnoticed... So, grid automatically creates a title attribute for each cell, copying the whole cell content into it. What's the reason for this? How I can disable it? In my grids, cells can hold A LOT of data sometimes, and the tooltip that appears when hovering a cell is really annoying.

Of course I can remove titles by Javascript after the grid is initiated, but it's kinda not very efficient (first titles are added, then they're removed), and also I wonder if these titles are essential for certan grid's operations... If I remove them, will everything keep working?

kind regards,

Hello,

Since this feature is asked many times I will think how to make it as option.

For now you can use gridComplete wher you can write

$("#mygrid td").removeAttr("title");

yep, that's what I do already, but I'm just wondering, does the grid actually uses this title attribute for any of its operations (just in case if removing attr would affect the normal functioning)?

Hello,

The answer of the question is No. Use it this way.
