Hi there!

Recently I installed jqGrid into a website that i'm working on and allthough I'm very satisfied I have some problems and really hope that someone can help me 🙂

1. Grid doesn't show in it's full width, only on first loading of the web site. The last column always changes it's width, but after i open some other grid and then again load the same one everything is like it should be. So the problem is only form the first loading. There are no empty collumns, and the problem is for both Firefox and IE. Tested od Firefox 3.0.13 and IE7.

2. I'm using "custom made" tooltips for the data that is placed in the grid, and they display ok, but this is not the only tooltip I get. Also the whole content of that cell is placed in title atribute do that TD tag and it's showing like tooltip. As I read somewhere I'm suposed to disable the onmouseover event. I tried that but with little success. Any ideas?

3. The main reason why I implemented jqGrid was because I needed sorting functionality available for the user. That thing works great, but I was wandering is it possible when you click on the header of some column the first sorting to be DESC, not ASC?

4. And last... probably this wiil sound stupid but how can I align to center the column header text?

That's all 🙂

Thanks,

Solakov

Hello,

Which version do you use?

1. Could not reproduce. Better send a link to the problem or if this is not possible send me the html to my e mail.

2. Check your code maybe you missed some " or ' at end of the title

3. Currently no.

4. Maybe you really use 3.4 since in 3.5 version this is by default. Use setCaption method.

Regards

Tony
