wide table scrolling issue

Hi,

First, I must say this is a great plugin. I was fed up with the verbosity and bloatedness of YUI and thats why I came here. Im amazed how fast jqQuery is.

My problem is I have a table with 25 plus columns. The goal is to make the data editing as spreadsheet-like as possible. Not all cells are editable. When a user clicks a cell that is not editable and the cell is, lets say, in the 25th column, the grid will scroll back to the first column, loosing focus on the selected cell..

How can i resolve this?

I think this it related to the jqGrid flickering issues i found somewhere here in the forums.

Is there a fix for this? What i did is i just assigned and edittype : 'text', and editoptions : {readonly: 'readonly'} to those cells that are on the far right of the table ..

Hello,

This bug is present in 3.4 and will be not corrected. Try with 3.5 where this is not happen.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to install the 3.5 Alfa 2 release but i think im missing some files because the grid wont work now. Should i upgrade first with 3.5 Alfa before Alfa 2? If so where can i download 3.5 alfa because i cannot see it the site..

What does not work?!?

There is a problem with the modals. Please load the jqModal before jqGrid java script files.
