Is there any way to prevent that? I set my window size to just small enough that my table needed a vertical scrollbar.. but instead of shrinking the table width it causes a horizontal scrollbar to appear.
Personally I dislike horizontal scrollbars and try to avoid them whenever possible.. so is there a way to make that happen (the resize)?
My inclination would be to use the gridcomplete to resize the width.. but I'm not sure how I'd know when to do it.

Not sure exactly what is your problem, but try to play with scrollOffset parameter. See docs
