I am not a good Javascript specialist but I note this:
var a = jQuery("#list1").getInd(idz,false);
alert(a);
if (!jQuery("#list1").getInd(idz,false) ) {
jQuery("#list1").addRowData(idz,{id:idz,nom:zone,objet:figure});
}
Before to insert idz, the first time, a is false because idz is not in the grid.
If I try to insert again, a is equal to 0 because it is the row of the first insertion.
I believe that, in Javascript, zero and false are identicals !
Don't you think there is an ambiguity in the returned values of the getInd function ?

Hello,
Everthing is ok - javascript interpret 0 as false, so in your script you must perform some additional checking for this
if (!jQuery("#list1″).getInd(idz,false) )
something like
if ( jQuery("#list1″).getInd(idz,false) !== false ) {
