jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I would like to congratulate for you for your good work.

I however struggle to make it to work. Using the tutorial and a plain vanilla grid, I got trouble with the bottom pager.

The size of the pager is too small.

If I had to add a style, it looks better but this is beyond my current knowledge of the database:
.ui-jqgrid .ui-jqgrid-pager {    height: 50px; }

So far I downloaded:

jquery.jqGrid-3.8.2.zip

jquery-ui-1.8.11.custom.zip

jquery.jqGrid-3.8.2.zip

I also tried to download:

jqgrid_demo38.zip

But there is no: Index page to show the example.

Is there a tutorial I have missed?
