jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi,

I'm having an issue with reloading the grid using trigger("reloadGrid");.

In my main grid i create a toolbar button which opens up a dialog box with another grid inside.

Before i open the dialog box using the button,  jQuery("#mainGrid").trigger("reloadGrid");  works just fine.But after i click on the button to bring up the dialog box, jQuery("#mainGrid").trigger("reloadGrid") does nothing. regardless of whether the dialog box is open or closed.

The refresh icon on the main grid works fine, it's just the jQuery("#mainGrid").trigger("reloadGrid") command that stops working afer a dialog was opened and closed.

Is this a bug or am i missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
