I have two grids that I am transferring data between (fixed earlier by Tony). I was trying to implement a throbber while the data is being moved between grids, due to it taking a little bit to do so. What I have found is that the throbber will not come on until after the data has been moved, even though it is called before the data move process begins. I had to comment out the turn off part, to see that it actually did come on.
Would it be better to implement a delay until the throbber is visible or is it not possible to have this run asynchronously?
$('#campaign-movedown').click(function() {
$('#id_overlay').addClass("ui-overlay");
$('#widget_overlay').addClass("ui-widget-overlay");
$('#throbber').show();
var RowList;
RowList = $("#grid1").getRowData();
var Row;
for( Row in RowList )
{
$("#grid2").addRowData(Row,RowList[Row]);
}
$("#grid1").clearGridData();
$("#grid2").trigger("reloadGrid");
// $('#throbber').hide();
// $('#id_overlay').removeClass("ui-overlay");
// $('#widget_overlay').removeClass("ui-widget-overlay");
});
