Hello,

I am sure that my lines will suit qunatité the text contained in the cell via a style:

. ui-jqGrid tr.jqgrow td {
white-space: normal! important;
height: auto;
vertical-align: text-top;
padding-top: 2px;
}

Now the contents of my cell from a stock that I Texar DB and I would return line kept in the display.

{name:'Note',index:'Note',editable:true, width:720,edittype:"textarea", formatter:currencyFmatter, unformat:unformatCurrency, editoptions:{rows:"10",cols:"20"}},

    function currencyFmatter (cellvalue, options, rowObject){
               cellvalue = cellvalue.replace(/\r/g, "<br>");
               cellvalue = cellvalue.replace(/\n/g, "<br>");
               return cellvalue;
           }
    function unformatCurrency (cellvalue, options, rowObject){
               return cellvalue.replace(/<br2>/g, "\r\n");
           }

function: unformatCurrency does not work this does not \ n for editing.
