Hi.
I'm new to jqgrid, what a wonderfull tool!
I need a little help to set columns align.
here is a sample of my code.
First a simple table
<table border="1″ id="balance">
<thead><tr>
<TH id="COMPTE">COMPTE</TH>
<TH id="LIBELLE" style="width: 400px">LIBELLE</TH>
<TH id="TOTAL DEBIT" style="width: 130px" >TOTAL DEBIT</TH>
<TH id="TOTAL CREDIT" style="width: 130px" >TOTAL CREDIT</TH>
<TH id="SOLDE"style="width: 130px" >SOLDE</TH>
<TH id="REVISION">REVISION</TH>
</tr></thead>
<tbody>
<tr><td>…sql results… </td></tr></tbody></table>
Then a tableToGrid function
<script>
tableToGrid("#balance",
{colmodel:[{name:"COMPTE",align:"left"},
{name:"LIBELLE",align:"left"},
{name:"TOTAL DEBIT",align:"right"},
{name:"TOTAL CREDIT",align:"right"},
{name:"SOLDE",align:"right"},
{name:"REVISION",align:"left"}],
height:"auto", width:"1280″});
</script>
It works well, exept the align of the cells.
I tried to set align directly on the html table (<td align=….>), it doesn't work
I tried to set align using the setColProp method ($("#balance").jqGrid('setColProp','SOLDE',{align:'right'})), it doesn't work
Everything is align on the left !
Am i doing something wrong? How can i set the align of the cells ?
Thank you for you help
Best regards

Hello,
try with colModel and not colmodel - Javascript is case sensitive
