subGrid + hideCol

Hi, I have a grid where I'm using subGrid + hideCol. When I expand the subGrid, if I also have a hidden column, the width of the subGrid is too wide. When I stop hiding the column, the width of the expanded subgrid is correct.
Has anyone encountered this before or have a work around for it?
