sort column by day of week

I've got a column called "Day" that has day names in it. I can't figure out how to make it sort in day-of-the-week order as opposed to alphabetical order.

Any ideas? Is there any way to override the default sort behavior? Ideally I could associate an integer with each day name and sort based on that instead of the actual name of the day.

IMHO - Ideally is to add custom sort type, which I think can be done.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the quick response again. I think I've read all the docs and demos pretty thoroughly, but I haven't seen any mention of a custom sort type functionality. Maybe you could post a link?
