Hello all,
Kudos to Tony and all the updates to jqGrid. I can't wait for 3.6
How would you open an "edit" dialog using the formatter:showlink?
I can create a link using formatter: 'showlink' but I just want to open an 'edit' dialog not a new page.
Here's part of my grid...
{
name:'proposalApproved',
index:'proposalApproved',
align:"center",
width:120,
editable:true,
edittype:"select",
editoptions:
{
value:" : ;1:Approve;0:Disapprove"
},
formatter: 'showlink',
formatoptions:
{
target:"_new", // don't want this
baseLinkUrl:'_approveProposal.php', //don't want this
addParam:'&action=loi',
idName:'applicationId'
}
},
Thank you for everything.
John
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

Hello,
You can use custom formatter and put onclick event in the a tag.

Tony
