jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi,

My page uses jqgrid with the advanced searching capability.  In a header of the page I'ld like to display a text description of the filter currently being applied.

In the onsearch and onreset functions the following code does achieve the expected result:

   $('#mytitleheader').html(   jQuery("#fbox_grid").jqFilter('toSQLString')  )

Now I'ld like to do the same when the page comes up with an initial filter. When using the same code right after the grid is initialized this approach doesn't work?

I briefly looked into the javascript code but couldn't see an immediate way...

Any thoughts or ideas?
