jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

Hi, I'm using a delete as follows:

    $('#editgrid').jqGrid('delGridRow', selectedRows, {
        url: 'datasrc/delete.php',
        top: 125,
        left: 300,
        reloadAfterSubmit: false,
        msg: "Deleting selected row(s)" + selectedRows
    });

The problem is after the first use, the message stays the same, even if I'm deleting a different group of rows. I assume that the options are getting saved and can't be, by default, overriden. Is it possible to change this behavior so that I can show the user what rows they are about to delete?
