Ok, I have searched and searched...

I need to set onClick default value of a column.

I know how to set the default value on creating the grid, but now I need to change it on the fly, how?

How do I fill a field?

This is what I tried:

$("#list2").setColProp('IDSCO',{searchoptions:{defaultValue:'bred2'}});

but nothing happance...

Please help

An update...

I have verified that the setColProp is working correctly...

But when I trigger('reloadGrid') nothing is happaning...

Ok, finally found it…

Sorry for the bother, reloadGrid does not reload colModel.

HERE is the unswere I was looking for, I have updated WIKI about that limitation.

Is there a plan to change that?
