setcolumns() issues

I'm having two issues with setcolumns()

1. The column box shows up centered in my grid right below the title bar and pushes the grid down and is not draggable.

2. When checking columns in the box and applying nothing happens to my grid.

I included jqDnR.js and jqModal.js now it doesn't show up in my grid it but as soon as I click inside it or drag the box it will disappear. Firebug shows no errors.

Include the needed css too. Read docs or this forum. This is most common problem

Hey tony,

I have looked at the docs here: http://www.secondpersonplural......0rz3tm.htm

I am importing these files in my html page:

jquery.js
grid/themes/jqModal.css
grid/themes/steel/grid.css
grid/jquery.jqGrid.js
grid/js/jqModal.js
grid/js/jqDnR.js

In jquery.jqGrid.js I have include true for all files. Unfortunately I am having the same issue still with the setcolumn box not being draggable and closing on me after click. Sorry to bug you about this.

I love the look of the alpha btw!

I'm really sorry tony.

I figured out the issue. It was with the modal css file. I at some point had copied the import line off of this forum and it had this symbol for the quotes: â€Â instead of this one “.

I didn't catch it until I went through and started making a test grid for me to upload for you to see.
