Do you have an example how to return one server error by using json_encode ?

Is Loaderror compatible with json_encode ? I don't think so.

If the server is written in PHP, I cannot use the echo function for signalling an error ?

Hello,

You will get what you return from server. Using xhr.responseText will give you the text of the response.

xhr.responsXML will give you the xml node.

Hello,

loadError just "replace" the jQuery ajax error in the grid.

http://docs.jquery.com/Ajax/jQ.....ax#options

Also for this we have:

"

A function to be called if the request fails. The function is passed three arguments: The XMLHttpRequest object, a string describing the type of error that occurred and an optional exception object, if one occurred. Possible values for the second argument (besides null) are "timeout", "error", "notmodified" and "parsererror". This is an Ajax Event.

"

Hope this helps

Regards

Tony
