Hi,

I have a grid with one of the columns defined as following:

{"search":true,
"name":"place",
"index":"place",
"editable":true,
"width":300,
"editoptions":{
"maxlength":2,
"value":"HO:Home;CE:Cellphone;OF:Office;OT:Other"
},
"edittype":"select",
"formatter":"select"}

When I try to get the value through getCell() or getRowData(), the value does not get unformatted.
(i.e. I get "Home" instead of "HO")

Is there a solution for this?

Thanks in advance, and thanks for this exelent plug in!

Hello,

Thanks. You are right in this case. Will try to extend the unformat function to support this.

Best Regards

Tony

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I guess that in the case of a multi-select I would be expecting an array like: ["CE","HO"]. Will this break existing code?

Thanks
