search on return keypress in search field

i'm using the multipleSearch stuff,

and i want that, if a user presses return on any search input field, than the search will be trigger.

i tried somethink like following

I get the event, but i couldn't trigger the search

searchoptions:{

dataEvents: [ { type: 'keypress', data: { search: this.search },fn: function(e) {

var code=e.charCode || e.keyCode;
if(code && code == 13) {// if enter is pressed
e.data.search();
};
} }
]} },

so is there way to do that, or is this a feature request ?

Hello,

Look at jquery.searchFilter.js - the syntax to do this is : $("#mySearch").searchFilter().search();

if i use $(”#mySearch”).searchFilter().search();

whereby i replaced the id with the one of my table,

it returns an object but the search is not triggered

i found another way using

$(".ui-search").click();

thx anyway
