Hi guys,

which function i have to call to clean the search field in the search dialog? (is the same that the clear button calls in the dialog)

because in cannot find it in the documentations pages

please help me

Hello,

You can use

$("#mySearch").searchFilter().reset()

The id of the serch form is constructed with the prefix fbox_ + the grid id.

hi,

thanks for your answer but this method clean just the input box ,i need a method that before reload the grid with a new url clear definetly the search field in the post datas.

i hope you can help me

Hello,

Depending on wich search module do you use you can use by example

$("#mygrid").jqGrid('setGridParam',{postData:{filters:""}})
