script problem when edit multiple rows

hi,everyone:
when I use this code in gridComplete event to edit multiple rows, I got a error ""A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now or you can continue to see if the script will complete."" .there are 300 rows in grid. Any better solution ?
var data = $(""{0}"").getDataIDs();
for(i=0;i<data.length;i++){{
jQuery('{0}').jqGrid('editRow',data[i],false,onCellEdit);
}}
