We have a grid which uses inline editing. The row is edited and saved after pressing the Enter key. My question is this: Is there a way to save off the current row being edited, when clicking on another row? This would eliminate the need to press Enter of course. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,
You can play with onSelectRow, also using the example from the demo you can replace restoreRow with saveRow
Something like
onSelectRow: function(id){
if(id && id!==lastsel){
jQuery('#rowed3').jqGrid('saveRow',lastsel);
jQuery('#rowed3').jqGrid('editRow',id,true);
lastsel=id; }
},
For professional UI suites for Java Script and PHP visit us at our commercial products site - guriddo.net - by the very same guys that created jqGrid.
