jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I've got a grid with multiselect:true, which works great, but I'd like to be able to click on cells without losing row selection. I.e. I have row select events and separate cell click events.

Is it possible to have the row select Only when you click on the checkbox ? 

Kind of like what multiboxonly does , except does not lose/change row selection when you click somewhere else.
