Remote Sort false

I am using data from a system where they were using an ext grid. I am using paging but unfortunately I have no way to do sorting. The just did local sorting with paging turned on. I know its pretty stupid but it is what it is. Sorting works fine if you just load once but is there any way to sort locally and still page?
