Problem with the navgrid

I was working on a project including these files:

jquery-1.3.2.min.js
jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.min.js
i18n/grid.locale-en.js
jquery.jqGrid.min.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.2)

My grid was working perfectly.

I decided to use the new version of jquery. Now I use:

jquery-1.4.1.min.js
jquery-ui.min.js (version 1.8rc1 of the ui)
i18n/grid.locale-en.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.2)
jquery.jqGrid.min.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.2)

Here I have a problem: the popup windows (search window, add window, etc) cannot be moved.

So I decided to update jQgrid to 3.6.4. Now I use:

jquery-1.4.1.min.js
jquery-ui.min.js (version 1.8rc1 of the ui)
i18n/grid.locale-en.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.4)
jquery.jqGrid.min.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.4)

But it it worse. Now the "navGrid" (with the button serach, add etc.) is not displayed at all.

What should I do to make it work? Am I missing some files?

In which browser is this?

For me there is no problem.

There is a new version of jQuery 1.4.2

Please try with it.

Hello,

The problem occurs in Ie8, firefox 3.6 and chrome.

I followed your advice and now I use:

jquery-1.4.2.min.js
jquery-ui.min.js (version 1.8rc2 of the ui)
i18n/grid.locale-en.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.4)
jquery.jqGrid.min.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.4)

The navgrid is displayed but the popup windows cannot be moved again.

Finally I use:

jquery-1.3.2.min.js (an old version of jquery)
jquery-ui.min.js (version 1.8rc2 the last version of the ui)
i18n/grid.locale-en.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.4 the last version of jqgrid)
jquery.jqGrid.min.js (jqgrid version: 3.6.4 the last version of jqgrid)

Everything works! Cool

The only thing I change is jquery-1.4.2 to jquery-1.3.2( but I really cannot make it work with the last version Frown ).

It is maybe because I use my grid in a Tab? I have had some problems with tabs already... I do not understand why I am the only one with this problem. lol.

Hello,

3.6.4 is supposed to work with jQuery 1.4.x.

Actuallymaybe you will need to clear your cache and use the appropriate theme bounded with jQuery UI 1.8rc

Hello,

I found my problem. I was using :
$("#myGrid").jqGrid({...}).navGrid( $("#myPager") , ...
instead of:

$("#myGrid").jqGrid({...}).navGrid("#myPager", ...

(which used to work with previous versions)
