Forum

Hello Tony,
I greatly appreciate the new feature to 'return false' from beforeInitData to prevent the edit form from appearing. I am trying to make this work for the Delete form as well, but having some problems.
It appears that the delete form follows the behaviour of the Edit form rather than making its own checks. For example, my grid has records that have been invoiced and so cannot be edited or deleted. Other records in the same grid have not been invoiced and can be either edited or deleted.
Selecting a record and clicking on Edit seems to work correclty every time (but I have the check in beforeShowForm), but clciking on delete always shows the behaviour of the previous edit action, even when I add a line to recreateform: true to the deleteparameters
Am I doing something wrong or should this be a request for a new feature?
Thanks
Reg
