jQuery Grid Plugin - jqGrid

I have the navigator gizmo succesfully showing up for my grid, however, finding documentation for the individual options settings for each of add, edit, delete, etc. seem to be difficult to find.

I'm actually wanting to HIDE some of the buttons, in this case everything but "search".  Yes, I know I could use the button outside the grid, but having it on the grid is far more attractive.

I've tried this:
